The opening scene places you inside a three-dimensional restaurant, with tables, seating and a stage ahead. Moving through this space changes your view of the room.
The left side of the screen has a virtual joystick. The right side has additional action icons. Start by learning the movement control and keeping a recognizable part of the room in view, so you can tell where a short movement has taken you.
How to Play FNAF: Secret of the Mimic
Drag the left joystick away from its center to move, then release it to stop the input. Make a short movement before crossing the room. Compare your position with the tables and stage to keep your route understandable.
Keep the next doorway and the route back to the stage in view while exploring. Use an objective or interaction prompt, when one appears, to decide what to investigate next.
