About Home Alone
Mediasaur created Home Alone as a short horror prototype for Brackeys Game Jam 2022.2. The opening gives you a familiar job: take care of the household tasks and enjoy an evening by yourself.
Those tasks establish the house before the disturbance begins. Remembering how the rooms connect helps you recognize when a sound or new event asks you to interrupt the routine.
How to Play Home Alone
Move with WASD. Left click interacts with objects and advances dialogue, right click zooms your view, and P pauses the game.
Find the chore list and complete its tasks in the house. Read a new message before moving on so you know whether the next action belongs to the original list or to something that has changed.
This is Mediasaur's standalone game-jam project. Although its creator cites Fears to Fathom among the inspirations, the two games should not share a walkthrough merely because both involve an evening at home.
