About Poppy Strike 4

Poppy Strike 4 is a first-person shooter that uses repeating rooms and mascot threats as an escape problem. Weapons provide a way to answer an encounter, but they do not remove the need to understand the map.

The useful approach is to preserve both a firing line and a known route. A long engagement can leave you facing one direction while another enemy approaches through the rooms you stopped checking.

How to Play Poppy Strike 4

Explore toward the exit, fight enemies that block the route, and keep track of the last recognizable room. Check your equipment before committing to another unfamiliar branch.

Main controls

Use the mouse to look, left-click to fire, and right-click for the flashlight. Move with WASD. Press R to reload; the ammunition display shows the rounds in the current weapon separately from the reserve.

Backrooms combat tips

Use an unusual room or doorway as the boundary between the area you know and the next search.
Do not back away from an enemy without checking where the route ends.
After a fight, recover your orientation before continuing; defeating an enemy and finding the exit are separate tasks.
