Jeff From Accounting
Type your ammunition while reloading, then fire the letters you prepared in a first-person shooting challenge.
About Jeff From Accounting
Team Terrible built this prototype for Ludum Dare 41, combining a typing game with an FPS. Reloading is more than waiting for a magazine animation: the letters you enter become the ammunition you shoot.
The combination creates two kinds of pressure. You need space to move and aim, but you also need a moment to type accurately before the next attack.
How to Play Jeff From Accounting
Use WASD to move, Shift to sprint, and left click to fire. Press R or Return to reload, then type the letters you want to shoot.
Prepare ammunition before approaching another target. Looking only at the enemy can leave you ready to aim but unable to maintain fire; looking only at the text can leave your character standing in danger.
Use a safe position for the typing step, then return your attention to movement and aiming. This is Jeff From Accounting's typing-shooter premise, rather than the unrelated Subliminal puzzle game named by the old page title.
